I’m thrilled to have made the shortlist for the Nature Research Innovating Science Award on behalf of Letters to a Pre-Scientist! This award recognizes initiatives that support the advancement of women and girls in STEM worldwide. I am passionate about making STEM and STEM careers accessible to everybody, and it’s an honor to be recognized on such a public platform for some of my work in this area and get to share my perspective with the world in the video you can view below. This recognition would not have been possible without the work of the rest of the Letters to a Pre-Scientist team over the past 9 years, including Lucy Madden, Macon Lowman, and Anna Goldstein. Working with such a passionate and respectful team to advance our mission has been a great privilege.
